K'veer is part of the original D'ni city underneath the volcano near The Cleft. The only entrance was blocked off by Atrus in Myst: The Book of Atrus, after Gehn trapped him there. It is part of Veovis, one of the men who helped in the destruction of D'ni, while the other man being A'Gaeris' home. Atrus was trapped there by his sons before Myst took place. At the end of Myst, Atrus is freed from his prison, but does not leave for very long. He soon returns and allows you to return to Myst and all of it's remaining ages. He continues to stay there making changes in the Riven book until after the events of Riven. He later returned to D'ni in Myst: The Book of D'ni. He soon began to restore D'ni but realized that D'ni would never be the same. He wrote another age instead, and called it Releeshahn. All of the known D'ni survivors moved to Releeshahn, and began building a new D'ni empire. Releeshahn was later stolen by Saavedro in Myst III: Exile.
