A musical instrument, possibly of D'ni origin, similar to a clarinet or oboe. Gehn had one with him in 233rd Age. Playing it gave him strength and inspiration. He used to record himself in his cannen and relaxed listening his own performances.[1]
The maral-obe is found hung in his bedroom next to Aitrus's portrait.
